Mrs Hélène PICHON, H.E. Mr Alvaro Enrique GONZALEZ OTERO, Mrs Sandrine LANGLADE, Mrs Léonie MARATZU, Mrs Flore SALESSY

Sandrine Langlade, a painter at the crossroads between lyrical abstraction and abstract expressionism, honoured us with her warm presence at the ‘’Oiseaux Fugaces‘’ vernissage held on 10 January 2025 at the Alliance française in The Hague.

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

Sandrine Langlade, an artist from Reunion Island, has exhibited her work in Europe, the United States and Latin America. After more than ten years of exhibitions in France and around the world, in 2018 she was awarded the Leonardo Da Vinci International Prize for Contemporary Art in Florence and the Titian Prize in Venice.

COLOUR AT THE HEART OF HER WORK

Based in Toulouse, in the south of France, since the beginning of 2023, the light and colour depicted in her paintings, undoubtedly inspired by the location, transports us into a sensory experience and stimulates our imagination.

ART THAT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER

Sandrine Langlade’s paintings not only bring people together, they also unite them around universal values. The human being is at the heart of her work. Her works touch the viewer through the power they exude.

Sandrine Langlade’s painting was unanimously acclaimed by the audience at her exhibition at the Alliance française in The Hague. The evening was attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of Uruguay, Alvaro Enrique Gonzáles Otero, Mr Lex Tholen, President of the Alliances Françaises network in the Netherlands, Mrs Marie-Christine Kok Escalle, President of the Consular Council of the Netherlands, Mrs Catherine Libeaut, Councillor for the French Abroad, Mrs Marinette Diafouka, and many other guests who had come to celebrate art and the French-speaking world.
